Coverage and travel.


Do you both work together?


Yes, we are together for every wedding, both taking pictures. By working as a team on every wedding we can ensure that we are delivering images of a consistent vision.


Do you edit all our photographs?


Yes, every image you receive has been individually hand-edited one at a time.


Where do you live and how far will you travel?


We currently live in Hyde, we cover the Cheshire, Tameside, Manchester, Lancashire and Yorkshire areas, we are happy to travel throughout mainland UK but travel costs will vary depending how far we have to travel.


How long will we have to wait for our images?


We deliver your images in a digital format within 6 weeks of your wedding date.


How does album design work?


You select the images that you would like to go into your album via the online gallery, we then create your album and deliver it to you when it is ready.


What will our album look like?


Our albums are modern with the images directly printed onto the page, we keep the designs classic and clean. For a closer look at our albums please feel free to contact us and arrange a consultation.




What is your style of photography?


Our genre of photography has several different names; wedding photojournalism, documentary wedding photography and reportage wedding photography. They all basically mean the same thing. We approach the day as observers, every image tells it's own little story, and then they combine together to tell you about the day. By not directing and posing you throughout the day we gain insight into the intangible elements of who you are and how your love and togetherness bring joy to the people whom you hold most dear to your heart.


Do you take posed family photos?


Yes, absolutely, they are an important part of your family history, and we will work with you to make sure that you get the group photos that you need. Please bear in mind though that our coverage is mainly journalistic and in real time, and very long lists of group shots will hinder our ability to cover the wedding in a documentary style. We recommend around 10 groupings, as this makes it quick, easy and more enjoyable for you and your guests.


Do you take couples portraits?


Again this is another important part of every wedding day, but in order for this not to impact your precious time with your family and friends we would request about 40 minutes to an hour in order to take some more semi-formal/casually posed images of yourselves for posterity.


Do you take pictures of our details?


Your details are very much a part of your day and are photographed with the knowledge that you have put a lot of thought into your details and that they are an important feature of your day. We do especially delight in spending a little time coming up with something unique for your wedding rings in particular.


Business and details.


Are you insured?


Yes, we are fully insured, it would be foolish to offer our services without insurance to protect both you and ourselves.


How do I book you?


A £100 deposit and a completed contract is required to confirm your wedding date. In the event of two couples requesting the same date we operate a first come first served basis.


When is the final balance due?


We require payment a week before your wedding date.


When should we book you?


ASAP. Most of our couples book us within a year of their wedding date, sometimes a full calendar year or more in advance. Contact us to check our availability for your wedding date.
